I have managed to make it to 70 years young, and retired from full time work in March this year.
By trade, I am a 1st Class Sheetmetal worker, and completed my apprenticeship in 1972.
Over the years the wife and I have had a couple of businesses, a milk bar, and also a hotel in country Victoria.
Most of my working life has been spent in the commercial building trade, supplying fire rated doors and frames to various projects in Victoria.
I have played Badminton for almost 55 years, and when Covid allows it, will return to playing twice a week.
My interests have been hunting, fishing, car racing, and I still have an interest in computers and CNC machinery, Being retired, I now have plenty of time to learn more about them. Caravanning is also on the agenda as she who must be obeyed wants to travel and see Australia.
As far as social media goes, sadly I am old school, possibly grumpy as well, and do not have much time for Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok etc. The amount of crap on them turns me off. Having said that, I am on Facebook under an assumed name, with no friends and no home page. I joined to get access to the CR10 group, who are very helpful.
