Description
Description:
This 3in1 3D printer has undergone an upgrade from the Snapmaker Original with new features and technology. This expert-level machine has received WiFi data transmission capabilities, a larger touch screen (an update to the Original’s 3-inch screen), and an enclosed linear module.
Each section of this printer has been enhanced as well with the filament run-out recovery sensor added to the 3D printing in addition to the auto-leveling feature. PETG and TPU have also been added to the materials that can be 3D printed. The lasers have also been improved with a higher laser power (now 1600 mW compared to 200mW), wavelength (formerly 405nm), and a built-in camera. Lastly, speed regulation technology has been included in the CNC carving along with an improved spindle speed. These new upgrades to the Snapmaker Original are certainly well worth the $1,000 price increase.
Three sizes are offered by the Snapmaker 2.0: A150, A250, and A350. The A150, starting at $1,199, is the smallest size at 300x316x390mm offering all except the z-axis holder, y-axis conversion cable, z-axis conversion cable, and platform part which come with the A250($1,499) and A350 ($1,799). The varying sizes and features leave the user with the choice of selecting the size that is well suited to their needs.
