Operation modes:
“Full Power” mode
Switch “4” at “I” position.
In this mode, the laser is operating at full power.
“PWM” mode
Switch “4” at “0” position.
The laser is controlled via a PWM signal with a frequency of 90Hz-50kHz.
When controlled by a PWM signal with a voltage of 3.3-12V, the PWM signal is fed through wires “16” (in the blue braid). The red wire is “PWM” (+), the black wire is “GND” (-).
When controlled by a PWM signal with a voltage of of 12-24V, the PWM signal is fed through wires “17” (in the black braid). The red wire is “PWM” (+), the black one “GND” (-). The laser control is possible through wires “17” using a PWM signal of 3-24V, but with a controlling PWM signal of 3.3-12V it is recommended to use wires “16”.
“Analog” mode
Switch “4” at “II” position .
In this mode, the laser is operating using an analog signal with a voltage of 0-10V, where 0V is a laser power of 0%, 10V is a laser power of 100%.
The analog control signal is fed via wires “16” (in the blue braid). The red wire is “+”, the black one “-“.
“Focus mode”
To run the mode it is necessary to:
1. Turn off the diodes using switch “1” or “2” and “3”.
2. Set button “4” to position “I”.
3. Turn on the diodes using switch “1” or “2” and “3”.
This mode is used for focusing the laser on a work material. In this mode, the laser is constantly on at 0.1% power.
Laser diode temperature setting
The laser diode temperature controllers have two readouts each. Indicators “10” and “13” display the current temperature of the laser diodes. Indicators “11” and “14” display the temperature above which the laser diode will be automatically turned off.
There are two buttons: “SET” and “C/F” to leftward of the temperature controllers.
The “C/F” button switches the temperature display from Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa.
Changing of the laser diode maximum allowable temperature:
1. Press the “SET” button. The maximum allowable temperature readout (“11”, “14”) starts flashing.
2. Press the “SET” button to increase the maximum allowable temperature or press the “C/F” button to decrease it.
3. A few seconds later after the last button press, the controller will save the set temperature and exit the temperature setting mode.
If the set temperature is exceeded the laser diode will turn off, and it will be possible to activate it again only when its temperature will drop below the maximum allowable by a given number of grades.
To set this number of grades, it is necessary to:
1. Press the “SET” button for about 5 seconds. After that, the controller will switch to the advanced setting mode, and the upper readout (“10”, “13”) will display the “P0” value, and the lower one (“11”, “14”) will display “H”.

2. Press the “SET” button once, after that the upper readout (“10”, “13”) will display “P1”, and the lower one (“11”, “14”) will display the specified number of grades by which the laser diode temperature should drop after its emergency shutdown.

3. Press the “SET” and “C/F” buttons simultaneously . The readout on the lower display (“11”, “14”) will start flashing.
4. Press the “SET” button to increase the number of grades or press the “C/F” button to decrease it.
5. A few seconds later after the last button press, the controller will save the given value and exit the setting mode.
